Experience
I'm Kate, and I'm a high school math teacher. I went to Cornell University to earn my bachelor's degree in psychology, and I began teaching math at the sixth grade level right out of college. After I got a few years of teaching experience, I went to Brown University to serve as a fellow of urban education. I love to teach math, and I enjoy working with students at any age and ability level. My favorite subject to tutor is algebra, but I can also help students with elementary school math, middle school math, statistics, psychology, social sciences, geometry, and test preparation for the PARCC, ACT, MAP, SAT, CLEP, and others. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, going out for live music, visiting the beach, and serving.
